Updates for COVID-19: In-Person (Live Online) Courses

Due to the ongoing effects of COVID-19, we have transformed some of our in-person Executive Education programs to live online delivery. Courses currently scheduled to take place in person may also switch to live online instruction as start dates get closer. All live online courses fall under the same terms and conditions as in-person courses, outlined below.

PAYMENT

Prepayment is a requirement for enrolment, and your enrolment and space in the program is confirmed only after payment has been received. Payment is due on the date indicated in the invoice that you receive following admission.

Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

All notifications of withdrawals, transfers, and substitutions must be emailed to hello@academyforimplantmastery.com 21 days prior to the start of the course.

AIM does not offer refunds except under two specific circumstances:

  1. COVID Related Travel: AIM will provide a full refund if the participant is unable to travel due to COVID restrictions to attend the course. Proper documentation from the appropriate government body will need to be submitted to AIM to receive a refund.

  2. Medical Reasons: AIM will provide a full refund if the participant cannot attend due to a medical condition (documentation of medical examination/evidence is required).

All notifications of withdrawals must be emailed to hello@academyforimplantmastery, and refunds are issued on the following schedule:

  • Withdrawal notification received before 21 days of the first day of the course: 100% refund (of full course fee) after processing fee.

  • Withdrawal notification received between 10 and 21 days before the first day of the course: 50% refund (of full course fee) after processing fee.

  • Withdrawal notification received 9 or less days before the first day of the course: 0% refund (of full course fee).

  • Withdrawals from a course to take advantage of a course discount and then re-booking the same course is a breach of our terms and conditions

AIM reserves the right to cancel any course at any time. If a program is cancelled, AIM's liability is limited to a full refund of the course fee already paid.

*Please note that all refunds are subject to a processing fee.

Transfers: Attendees are not permitted to defer their enrolment. Attendees wishing to enrol in another offering of the course must drop the course and reapply to a future course offering.

AIM is not responsible for travel or related costs under any circumstances. Attendees may want to consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance in the unlikely event that a course is cancelled or they cannot attend for personal or professional reasons.

TRANSFERS

One transfer to a subsequent course will be permitted within 12 months of the original courses's start date, provided that there are seats available in the requested course. If the attendee would like to transfer to a more expensive course, the attendee will need to pay the difference between the cost of the original course and the subsequent course.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Courses require a formal education in Dentistry (undergraduate and postgraduate training). AIM reserves the right to decline enrolment to any attendee who we determine does not meet the professional requirements outlined for a specific course.

AIM requires attendees engaging in clinical procedures to have an up-to-date AHPRA registration (or equivalent) and no limitations on their registration. Moreover, current indemnity insurance including public liability is required.

INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION

While we strongly encourage global participation, please note that all courses are taught in English. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required. Individual courses may contain additional requirements.

RECORDING

Recording, in whole or in part, of any course by attendees is strictly prohibited. Only AIM staff are authorised to record courses. Unauthorised recording will result in immediate removal from the course without refund of fees.

PHOTO AND IMAGE PERMISSIONS

The attendee hereby waives compensation and any right to inspect or approve any such uses, Reproductions or related materials. The attendee hereby releases, discharges and agrees to hold AIM harmless from any liability arising out of AIM’s use of the Reproductions, including any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion or use in composite form.

ATTENDEE BEHAVIOUR

All attendees agree to show respect for every member of the AIM community and refrain from all forms of intimidation, harassment, and acts of prejudice that infringe upon the rights of other members of the community. ATTENDEE AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By submitting any course application and/or enrolling in the course, the attendee indicates that the attendee has read and agreed to the terms of AIM registration policies.
